Misuse of the name of Mr Mikhail Sokolov, a Consultant Solicitor with IMD Solicitors LLP and a practicing Advocate in Russian Federation.

It has come to our attention that unknown third parties have been sending e-mails purporting to be from Mr Mikhail Sokolov and making telephone calls purporting to be Mr Mikhail Sokolov.

If you receive any communication from Mr Sokolov please ensure that you check the domain from which the e-mail has originated. Mr Sokolov utilises the following domains only:
@imd.co.uk
@sokolovlegal.com

In the event that you have received an e-mail from any other domain, please contact Mr Sokolov at mikhail.sokolov@sokolovlegal.com or IMD Solicitors LLP at DPO@imd.co.uk as a matter of urgency.

In addition, if you are not an established client of Mr Sokolov and receive a telephone call purporting to be from Mr Sokolov, please contact Mr Sokolov at mikhail.sokolov@sokolovlegal.com or IMD Solicitors LLP at DPO@imd.co.uk as a matter of urgency.

We would urge everyone who, having read the above, has any concerns to contact mikhail.sokolov@sokolovlegal.com  or DPO@imd.co.uk with details of your concerns as well as your name, email address and telephone number so that we can confirm that it was Mr Sokolov who has contacted you.
